Boa constrictors, or red-tailed boas, are one of the most popular of the large snakes. and for good reasons! They are tame, excellent eaters and although females can get large, they are still a manageable size for most adults, and it takes them years to get that size. Not to mention they come in a variety of colors and personalities!
