Charlie is an adorable young Basset Hound with a wonderful personality. He is well trained for HEEL, DOWN, BED, STAY. He loves the outdoors and the indoors. He rarely barks or howls. He is a people lover and strives to please and to befriend all. Charlie gets along well with all four kids and obeys them well. We also have a cat that gets along fine with Charlie. We don't really want to part with him, but we have an older male Cocker Spaniel and Charlie is too friendly with the Cocker Spaniel. They play together well and spend much time together, but we also have to ensure they are separated part of each day so the Cocker Spaniel can get a break from Charlie's affection. Charlie is spade. We love Charlie, but he must go so our Cocker Spaniel can have a break. We will send photos upon request. We recommend a home where Charlie is the only dog, or where other dogs enjoy or tolerate an endless supply of affection. We paid $1000.00 and Charlie is worth all that and more, but we are willing to sell for less to ensure Charlie goes to a home where lots of canine affection is needed.
