Riley Jo is a young white and black Marshall ferret. Not sure of her exact age, but somewhere between 9 months and a year. She has had her shots and is descented and fixed, however she will need a vet check-up in around 6 months. Riley is a very active little girl. She needs lots of room to run around and lots of attention. I am finding it difficult with a college load to find the time for her, and it is selfish of me to keep her in the cage for so long during the day. She does have a bad habit of chewing on electrical cords, but if put in a room with no available cords, she is no trouble. She has only bitten me once, but it was because I accidently pinched her skin between my fingers and it hurt her. She does play nibble, however, and will catch your toes when you least expect it. It never hurts, though. She is litter box trained, but will dig in fresh litter sometimes. Bathtime is no problem at all and she loves to run around in the shower with you. She loves to be outside, but she’s quick, so I don’t recommend taking her out in an open space without her harness. She is a really good pet when given the right attention and will take to you and your home almost immediately.
Along with Riley, you will get:

-A large 2’x2’x4’ Super Pet 3-level cage with hammock.
-2 ceramic bowls. (I use one for food and one for water, but she drinks it faster that way, so it needs refilled more often.)
-A smaller cage for travel use. (With a little bedding for this cage.)
-A PetTaxi carrier. (I use it for car trips because she gets under the pedals.)
-A pink harness and leash.
-A smaller brown leash. (Good when used together because it’s longer.)
-A high-back litter pan and a scooper.
-A tunnel toy. (Her favorite.)
-A few small things to play with. (She doesn’t show much interest in toys.)
-Ferret Shampoo and Conditioner.
-A training clicker and treats.
-Any food and litter I have left.

I also have a box of packing peanuts that she loves to play in, but probably will not miss if not taken with her. I would prefer to keep the cage in one piece, which will require a large vehicle or truck to transport, but I will take it apart if necessary.

Riley is my only pet, but I would prefer her be taken home to a family that already has a ferret and has knowledge to take care of her and the time for her. I have never seen her interact with another ferret, but I do not think she would be any trouble.

I am asking for around $250 for her because of all that’s been invested in her and what she comes with. However, I am willing to lower it a little bit in order to give her a great and safe home.

Travel is negotiable if not too far.

E-mail me if seriously interested or for pictures and and if you have any questions.
