This is one awesome mare. She is a 1988 AQHA lineback Bay mare that has been pasture bred to an AQHA grullo stallion for a 2009 dun foal. Every foal she has produced has been born with a dorsal stripe. Do not let her age intimidate you as she has been well cared for and everyone who sees her thinks she is much much younger, one person even thought she was a 2yo. With that being said, she is well broke, has been ridden extensively in the foothills,on trails, along country roads, through creeks/water, across bridges, over overpasses, around cattle, gathering cattle,around/with other horses, in the wind/rain, with no spook, no prop and wheel, no buck, no bolt. This is one of those hard to find horses that you can let sit for years, pull them out of the pasture, saddle them up, and away you go. In fact, she sat for 10 years until recently: she saddled up easily, was lunged for 30 minutes then ridden in a round pen with no buck, no bolt, etc. She does not have any vices, is easy to be around, excellent ground manner, easy on fences, saddles and bridles easy, etc. Her sire has halter points and her dam has pleasure points. She was shown at halter as a 2yo for the first time,by a beginner in her first show too, and they placed. She has by far, been my best producing mare. Email for pics of the foals that she has produced: you will definately be impressed. She is current on vaccinations, worming and trims. She trailers, clips, bathes, has been shod and is currently being ridden regularly. She is a very level headed and quick mare, with lots of go: definately not a dead head. She has also been used in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with children aged 5-7 years old. She comes with a LCFG, meaning, if you do not get a live dun foal(foal is born a dun, is alive and stands and nurses)she will be re-bred to the same stallion for free the 2009 breeding season only. Her last years foal sold for $2000, before it was even weaned.
