Maverick is a 16yr old TB gelding. I dont know any of his stats or if he even made it to the track but he is tattooed. His racing name was Side By Side. He has been evented lightly. He is also fun on trails with or without company. With company, he prefers the front. He is not spooky and has been used as a trail guide with beginner through advanced riders for the past few years. His previous owners used him as a jumper and said he was jumping 4 foot courses. Unfortunately, his time in the racing world and age has caused some arthritis and I think he is no longer suitable for a lot of dressage work and/or jumping. He has very mild , occasional lameness in hind usually only evident when doing small circles but he feels great on the trail or just hacking around the ring. I havent jumped him in awhile but I dont think low jumps would be a problem. I am looking to continue up through the eventing levels and I am afraid Mav cant take me there. Maverick is easy to work around and has nice manners. He is great with trailering, farrier, vet, dentist, etc. Does not crib. He turns out well with mares or geldings. Experienced riders only.
