Blue is a 50 pound Beagle/Husky mix spayed female, with beautiful light blue eyes. She has been a member of our family since she was a puppy and it breaks our hearts to have to find her another home. She is up to date on all her shots and monthly heartworm and flea medicine. She is house broken, does some commands (sit, lie down, stay), and spends her time both indoors and outdoors. If you have a fenced-in yard, Blue comes with her own dog house! She is an incredibly intelligent animal who prefers the company of adults and older children. She would be best placed in a house with adults, as she does not enjoy the company of young children. She is happiest when she is able to sleep under your legs while you hang out on the couch. She is great on the leash and loves to go for walks. Once she is settled she will become very protective of her home, although she will welcome anyone who enters with her owner. She is an alpha female who gets along great with some dogs and not so great with others. She is wonderful with cats both in the house and yard. We also have a crate for her, although she does not like to be in one for long periods of time. We would like to keep in touch with her new owners.
