These horses are not located at Horses in Harmony, nor have then been evaluated or trained by us. We would recommend that experienced horse people or trainers ONLY consider taking on these young horses. Although novices might like the idea of breaking and training a "project" horse, it must be understood that this is highly dangerous and that more harm than good can be done if these horses are trained incorrectly. Fear of a rider is the main cause of bucking, bolting and rearing. Nobody wants a dangerous horse that has been poorly trained, and that is why so many of these horses end up at auctions for slaughter or being abused. Please novices, if you care for these magnificent horses - be safe and take on a dead broke, older and safe horse for your first horse. Thank you so much :-)
Dakota is a 26 month old, 5 colored pinto. His father was a Tennessee Walker, his mother was a Quater horse, his grandfather was a Thoroughbred. He is not broke, However he does lunge, trailer well, halter broke and has a loving gentle spirit and beautiful markings about him. He is a stud.
Cheyenne is a 28 month old bay colored paint. We don't know too much about him as I bought him from a rescue when he was about 6 months old. He also is not broke, but does lunge, trailer well, halter broke and beautiful markings. He is quite the ham and boy can he run and move. I've never seen a horse take corners as quick and graceful as he does. When he runs his tail hooks up like an Arabian. He has been gelded.
They have had their shots and up until just earlier this year, their hooves were trimmed every 6 weeks. Must take both horses. They both have good dispositions and are really sweet.
