Lastnight we lost my 4 yr. old daughters mini mare of colic (twisted gut)
she was 37 years old, we rescued her in december of 2007. when we got hr she was TERRIBLY thin. the vet said it was "a time will tell" deal with her as she had a bad liver. my daughter however loved "penny" so much, and i didn't know how to break it too her but "penny went to see her mommy".
i am looking for a FREE mini to replace her, i would even take in a free lease for LIFE if must. the mini would have a LOVING and caring home to ive out its days here. it does not need to be a mare but PLEASE NO stallions,remember this will be for a 4 yr. old girl.
i have been rescuing for the past 4 - 5 years and have NEVER asked for donations of ANY type but it would be greatly appreaciated, i am going to auction on saturday and could rescue one. if you would like to donate, put it under "penny fund"
