Bam is a dark brown and white paint, with a white/black mane, and a black tail. He has a blaze on his face and is half arabian, half quarter horse. His mane and tail are very long, and has a beautiful dished face and small ears.
Bam is intelligent and energetic. He's had many beginner riders on him, all ranging in ages of 16-19. I wouldn't recommend you putting a child on him right away. He still needs alot of time and work.
Bam is taken out on the trails almost several times a month. He's always taken out with another horse and has done fairly fine on these trails considering his lack of training. He's ridden through woods, farm fields, near roads, and big tractors. You will have to work on him about water though.
Bam picks his feet up for you, is good with the farrier, stands tied, and stands tacked. He also knows to come by his name.
Bam has had 30 days of training with a woman who regularly boards and works with horses. He accepts the bit and stands pefectly still for the saddle. He's been ridden english and western. The trainer told us he would be a great barrel prospect for he is very adept at sharp turns with high speeds. He's been walked, trotted, cantered, and galloped under the saddle.
We prefer someone who lives in Michigan so we can check out the premises for this horse. We want him to go to a good home. He had his 5th birthday on 8/8/08.
