Very promising, sweet tempered derby aged gelding. Will make a solid Rookie/ Non-pro/ Youth horse. "Morrie" was started as a cutting horse and was used on a ranch as a two year old. He was also hauled to teach the Texas A&M 4-H Horsemanship Clinics across the state with less than 60 days riding. Needless to say, he is very quiet and gentle. He was switched to reining as a three yearold when his owner changed disciplines and will be shown starting in July. "Morrie" is by Meradas Money Talks (currently standing at Crawford Stallion Services) who won $47,894 in NCHA before becoming injured as a four year old. Meradas Money Talks' offspring have won over $1,500,000.00 in NRHA, NRCHA, and NCHA. His offspring includes The Love Man (shown by Todd Crawford with NRCHA winnings of over $120,000), Meradas Clone (over $390,000), Meradas Rockalena (over $190,000), Meradas Cookin Now ($119,000), and Mighty Joe Merada ($137,000). Shug Merada seems destined to follow in his siblings money earning footsteps. He has an easy stop and awesome turn. He stays very low and collected, and is generally a fun horse to ride.
