"Chris" is a beautiful 2004 gelding who is wonderfully uncomplicated. He has a great foundation under saddle, including a nice walk, jog, and lope, as well as leg yeilds, a nice "off your seat stop" and a good turn. Has had 60 days of pro training at Dawn Walkers and has been heavily schooled since. This horse is on his way to becoming one SUPERB performance horse...could truly go in any direction, show, trail, performance, cows, reining, roping...the sky is the limit with this guy! The best part is that he is very laid back and easy going...has already been on trails (through water, over bridges, streets, railroad crossings, etc.), has been ridden by a 7 year old, has dragged buckets and logs, and has had a rope swung off him.
Bred to the hilt, including Sunny Dee Bar, Poco Pine, Brother Heathen and Sullivan's Heathen to name a few! His full brother is a 16 hand bulldog tank, and at 15.1 and still growing, "Chris" is going to be a big boy! You couldn't ask for a flashier horse, every year his palomino coloring gets darker and brighter.
"Chris" trailers wonderfully (over 1000 miles in the last year and half), clips, ties (has stood for hours without protest), stands for farrier (just tie him up, no need to hold him), great with vet, etc. Super easy going on the ground and a complete and TOTAL LOVER!
