Violet Wrap male - $350 born 7/9/06
A very nice herd improvement sire that received a 1b rating at the 2007 MCBA National Chinchilla Show. He has very nice fur, good clarity and would be an exciting addition to any herd.
Violet Wrap Female – $350 born 11/18/06
This herd improvement dam is an exceptional specimen with many Grand Show Champions in her lines. Her extremely well veiled coat and thick fur nicely accent her Brevicauda type, face. If you need larger size, better conformity, a nice blocky build or great clarity in your herd, this female is a very good choice.
Ebony V/C female – $175 born 6/26/06
This Dam received a Second place rating at the 2006 MCBA National Chinchilla Show. She has absolutely no red color in her fur and her veiling is very satisfactory. Her best use as a breeding animal would be to correct any color tinges in an ebony line or to produce clear violet wraps. Her lineage includes animals from world-renowned breeders Jags and Woods.

When you look for a standard to add to your herd, you want it to be big, blocky, well veiled and prodigiously conformed. This herd improvement dam has all of those qualities and more. This female is a retired breeder form the Jagielo Chinchilla Ranch. She is still quite young and has a chance at breeding, however she has not produced a kit for over 1 year. This male is turning out very nice. He is the son of the herd improvement standard listed for sale. So far his fur, color and veiling looks very good and his size is coming along nicely. As is he would be a great herd addition, however in a couple months when he is done growing he will look even better.
