A little about us: We have for sale a litter of pure bred, full blooded English Cream and Golden Retrievers. Our Mommy (Zoe) is four years old and this is her third and final litter. Zoe is a standard golden color while Dad (Zack) is an English Cream Golden Retriever, resembling the color of coffee creamer. We have more compliments and recommendations than I could possibly include in this letter from previous adoptive families, but they are available as well as opportunities to meet a few of the earlier pups as they reside with friends and family locally.

Mom and Dad (Zoe and Zack) are pure bred without signs of any inherited detrimental conditions, and Zoe is actually certified for her hips. I have the AKC documentation for Zoe, but Zack's previous owner defaulted on his paperwork, and after 6 months of battling for the rights, I gave up the pursuit. I don't consider this detrimental to the sale of the pups for three reasons: 1) I wouldn't release their breeding rights as I do not want them used for breeding or studding purposes, 2) It cuts the price of my pups down over 40% in comparison to the price that papered English Creams go for ($1400 - $2000), and 3) it keeps pet stores and puppy mill breeders disinterested in our pups as resale livestock. We go through great lengths to ensure that our pups go to overly affectionate, active homes, preferably with children because of their nature. They will do just as well with active adults too. You may be asking yourself why I breed my dogs, and I will answer that question now, and it begins with Zoe.

Zoe may be the best dog to ever come into our home. We adopted her after a long time customer and friend of mine came to me with a family problem. She had Zoe for 6 months, by at which time she and her 2-year-old son had become dramatically attached to her. My friend then found out she was pregnant with twins and her husband decided for the family that they couldn't care for the puppy with twins on the way. I had set up a date for meeting Zoe so I could describe her to a friend who had recently put their golden to sleep, but by the time I met Zoe, my friends had already acquired a new dog. However I met with Zoe and her owner anyway. Zoe was just incredible. She was darting and running and doing her puppy thing, but in all that time, as she ran with both of our young boys, she never once came close to getting rough with them. In actuality, she was protective and watched them whenever they lost interest in her and decided to go off on their own. I was absolutely taken with her and my son and I decided to add her to our family. Since then she has become a stale in our neighborhood with the children and adults alike. She is as much part of my family as she is now with my neighbors.

Zack came into out family 2 years later. I had been looking for a companion for Zoe while I was at work. While at work one day, A woman had come to the store with a litter of Golden Retrievers, but light colored, almost white. As she told us about her pups and the parents, I sat on the ground and let the pups maul over me. Zack reached me first and he planted his bum in my lap. As the other pups clamored for my attention, Zack held steady, and when the other pups lost interest in me to their surroundings, Zack remained with me. I bought him instantly from his owner, but in my haste, I didn't get all of the correct information from her. I tried to track her down for months afterwards to get Zack's paperwork, but to no avail. The bond with him was instant, and I had never felt this way about a male pup. The pursuit for his paperwork became too time consuming and my alternatives for finding her ran into money, so I let it go.

After a year of having Zack and Zoe together, we decided to let them breed, as I had a number of friends and family members begging me for a pup. I also thought it would be a great experience for my son. It was. Zoe had 9 pups her first litter, and four of them went with family and friends friends, and the rest to some of the nicest people I have met in the area. Upon referrals, requests, and the utter joy of the experience of the first litter, we decided to let them breed again.
The cream pups will be $750 each. The golden will be $400. If you have your doubts about boys, please allow yourself to meet Zack and mine before finalizing that thought. I couldn't be happier with Zack. He is so loving and loyal and polite, and he has never humped or sprayed anyone or anywhere. I have testimonials for some of his male pups as well, they are very well behaved and well loved.
