i have 12 chinchillas, i started out with three, 2 boys and one females. then the mother had 2 boys and one didnt make it. we had 4 an my girlfriend wanted more. so we went to some ladies house and bought a velvet female, standard male, and 2 white females. about 4 months ago the orignal chin we had got has had 2 baby boys. which are up for sale. recently the white ones had babys too. one had 1 boy and the other are to be determined. i want to keep the 3 new babys and the original female that i have but the 3 standard males are up for sale, 2 white females, velvet female, and the 2 standard babys. i live in North Branford CT. if u want more info or pics please feel free to e-mail me any time.
